Batteries

I don't know how the heck batteries work, I have a game tommorow but I don't know if the baterry will work in my new gun. It says it takes a 1700mAH battery, but I have been sent a 2400mAH battery. Hmmm, either the gun will blow up in my face when I try to fire it, or that 1700 was just a guideline or something and I'm a paranoid freak who knows nothing about batteries. Help me please I beg you!

Ok, mAh is the power of the battery. It takes about 1 mAh to fire one BB. Probably a little less. So lets say you have 1000 mAh, you will be able to fire 1000-2000 BBs. Voltage is what you need to look out for. If you use say, a 9.4 V battery in a gun thats only supposed to have 8.4V, you could do some damage.

tis an M4A1 Carbine (retractable) so I need crazy V shape batteries to stick in the handguard. Anyways it's all sorted now, used the gun yesterday in a game and it works fine.
